Son got a white tail buck @ 2 weeks ago outside of Tulameen, will be up that way over Thanksgiving, will post if we see / get anything.
Last trip a few weeks ago saw a few white tail does, no bucks, lots of grouse and bunnies.
Plenty of does, not a single buck, many road hunters, 2 grunting-all-the-way bulls chasing a cow moose at 22 yds
Been south all the way to the border on the east side of Manning park for opening day, was Smokey, did see a lot of grouse. Nothing else
weekend back was south of Hedley down the sterling , and saw a handful of Muley does, and grouse were a regular site.
nothing else.
Have not hunted north of Princeton, so no comment.
but good luck

Hunted just past manning aswell. More moose sign than anything. I think the fires everywhere have really displaced the animals
just came back and got nothing.... 6 days. hunted hard and spent more days out of the truck than in the truck.
Saw lots of does, grouse and bunnies. Saw a few buck and came home with one. All this over 3 days. Ran into a couple of hunters each day, only one other guy had taken a buck. It's all in the luck of being in the right place at the right time. I spent two days hiking my ass off and bumped two buck into another hunter (who took one). Then on day three I was driving to another area and saw a couple of buck on the side of the road. Stopped, had a 40 meter clear shot with all the time in the world to take it, it folded down gracefully just off the FSR. I'm happy.
Anyone get anything during the long weekend?
co worker and 6 others got 2 over the long weekend
We got one grouse in the Tulameen area, another feller we ran into got a small buck.
Son In Law had a chance for an "Antlerless" White Tail but passed as it was with 2 small fawns.
Neighbour had a shot at a 4 point + Muley but missed.
