    River tide levels

So I'm planning on being out on the Fraser river this weekend, among those tidal islands, but I can't remember how high of a tide will swamp them completely.

Anyone know if a high tide of 3.6m (11.8ft) at Steveston will force me out by 10am?

My experience isn't that much but I didn't think they were ever totally under water. The edges sure. Woodward Island struck me as higher than the others.

Yeah, I can't be much more precise than silveragent but my memory is that there was always high ground. Although when I participated in the cleanup a few years ago I was amazed at how far from the river I collected trash that floated there.

I've had my favourite spot get swamped twice last year, but mostly it doesnt come over the bank, and its a decently high up spot too.

Just don't remember how high those swamping tides get. Guess I'll find out this weekend
