    Corn Bear

Well it's been a few years since I've taken a Bear and with the bush full of them I figured I would try something different than calling them pepperoni .
How about Corn Bear recipe does anyone have any to share. Also sausage that doesn't need a smoker would really appreciate any ideas there too I just ordered a grinder.

Like recipes that have corn and bear in them?

    some ideas:
any casserole that uses a can of corn, mix with ground or stewing bear meat
slow cook the bear, make tacos and serve corn as a topping. Corn tortillas
or make a bear burrito with corn, rice, cilantro
fresh baked corn bread with some bear stew on the side
    Put corn in the stew
make sausages and then make bear corn dogs
    polenta goes good with anything
bear pot pie. I like the premixed frozen veggies and puff pastry. Easy and fast to make
Bear empanadas with corn inside or served on the side

i don’t have any sausage recipes yet, will probably buy the premixed bags from stuffers and start with that.

I would just like to add that cooking corned anything, I've been doing a lot of beef briskets lately, is really easy if you use a sous vide cooker. I like the flavors of the corned beef from sous vide way better than the flavors from simmering or pressure cooking, not that I dislike simmered or pressure cooked, and it has a better texture IMO. I've been doing the points for about 3 hours less than the flats and then finishing them on the Traeger with hickory, faux pastrami! I just put a venison roast in a dry brine to be finished in about 10 days, I'll report back when it is cooked. I haven't decided whether to smoke it or not.

I really wanted to corn some mulie this year, definetly interested in bear as well...would like to hear some personal experiences.

As for non smoked sausage...my favorite from last couple years were brats 50/50 pork butt. Turned out so well and the heavy pork mix makes it so people that don't typically enjoy bear meat like them as well.
