Thanks. I continue my search. Spent some time reviewing the Fenix models yesterday. Appreciate the reply.
ledlenzer i cant believe how bright it is and how long it lasts, far superior to every other one i have tried
Are you talking about the white light being bright? What about the other colours? Red.
When I read the details of these LEDLenzer headlamps, I'm concerned they don't have sufficient hours of use on them between charging. I'm not always interested in reducing lumens (for the red) to save battery power. And, I don't always have my phone with me. Is that an issue? On an early season elk hunt (with generally lots of daylight), just in one day I would use the headlamp for 3 hours in the morning and another 3 or 4 in the evening. Could be more. Do I have to charge it when I come back to camp?
FYI, I rarely use the white light on a headlamp. Really looking for performance for the red lamp.
Thanks
Has anyone here found a good headlamp that has just the on and off feature without different brightness settings?
LEDLenser MH10 is an awesome light. Super bright and small and light and rechargable

Got 3 of these from T Bartell, best light I have ever owned.
One charge will last a week of hunting.

Rechargable 18650 Fenix HP25R has worked great for years for me. Flood, spot and red. I have dozens of 18650 batteries salvaged from laptops and cordless drills over the years (free). Carry a few extra or usb recharge, very versatile. I converted to 18650 years ago and never regretted it.
