I recently purchased a used firearm with a scope that is a bit older. I have no experience with it and did some googling but only found limited info. it is a burris signature 3x12 that has 2 adjustments on the front of the scope (google says not that many of the 3x12 were made). From what I can gather, the daytime/twilight adjustment is a light filter? ...the other adjustment is for depth of field if I read it correctly (so some sort of aperture adjustment).

Thanks in advance to any one with anything to add or correct anything I have said
Cheers
