    Cargo Trailer Mattress Ideas

Very stoked to pick up a 7x16 cargo trailer that’s been set up for hunting with bunks etc. came with an old foam mattress that will be recycled ASAP !

Wondered what mattresses people are using in their trailer conversions on plywood bunks ? I’m a big guy (6’t 250 lbs) and enjoy a comfortable sleep…

Thanks for ideas in advance !

Last year took our mattress from our travel trailer and bought a queen pad from Ikea. All kinds of sizes and firmness's was half the cost of the Douglas we bought for the house and just as comfy!
Take a kid hunting its more rewarding than shooting an animal yourself!!

Recently bought a foam from Suprlus Herbies. They had several thicknesses to choose from, and more than enough styles. I bought a single 30" wide x 3" thick, for these old bones when in the back of the Excursion. Working great so far.

I use a real mattress with springs in it. We call them prison mattresses haha

Can't stand foam. After a few days it's squished down and you're right on the plywood.
