If we’re not supposed to eat animals, how come they’re made out of meat?

Appears to be some blood on the one on the left. Strange event for sure. When do perfectly healthy looking sheep just die. Look at them. They're not thin for sure. Coats look ok. And they just decide to die on the side of the hwy.

Really sad news...
Hey guys/gals.
I was one of the first people on the ground out there and the photos from all the stuff online are from me on Tuesday evening out there. I've been back and forth from home since then.
If you are interested in learning more check out our(WSSBC) media release:
https://www.wildsheepsociety.com/dis...p-populations/
I've personally found(alongside a couple of other folks) over 20 dead sheep now, with 2 more fresh ones last night. WSSBC funded 12 collars of which 9 are down, with 2 more like to drop off in short order here based on their recent movement patterns. If that average carries through to the entire herd of ~250 animals, which it almost certainly will, well... you can do the math yourself. It's not pretty out there.
Steven, while I applaud your helping of other hunters, that's not one of your better comments. I suggest getting educated on a subject before issuing nonsense.
Cheers,
Peter

How long from the time they are bitten, do the sheep exhibit symptoms (if any and what are those symptom's), until they
basically drop??
What is affected internally??
It is kind of alarming that a bite, from a critter that is all over BC can do that, especially such a small one at that.
Makes me wonder sometimes, especially pertaining to sheep if there should be work in genetically modifying sheep to be a
bit more hardy when they seem to be affected by so many things.
I know, laugh, but i am serious to degree.
How else do we ever get sheep #'s to climb.
We continue to have more and more people, and more and more situations that seem to lead to their demise.
Just crazy and sorry for all the hard work some at WSS have put in, and then to see this happen.
I feel for you guys!
Here's the latest info for anyone intersted.

Is there not a large contingent of llamas and alpacas in that area?
