The Liard First Nation issued a hunting advisory dated Aug 1, 2021.The Liard River First Nation declared a partial ban on non-kasha hunters who are not local. Because of the continuing hunting pressure causing displacement of Kaska aboriginal rights, the First Nation is forced to restrict hunting in the Frances Lake/Frances River/Alaska Highway on the roads in the Ranch area, as well as Nahanni Range Road and on the Liard River. Not sure if the intent is to include the Rancheria River area in BC.
