Get away from the roads and traffic, things will be good I'm sure in areas I plan to hunt. Can't wait, 10 more sleeps haha!!

There are a few fires up near Tumbler Ridge as well, with some areas that are closed, so just plan around those if you go North. Be prepared for way more guys going up north as well, as this year is going to be tough for many in the southern parts.

Salmo will be busy no doubt,

I have a friend that lives/hunts south of Cherryville and has noted a large increase in herd size since the advent of the Winnifred Creek/Michaud Creek fires

Never seen the like, seems like two herds joined he mentioned

Says he's got a couple bangers around too lol

Will radio him this weekend and check in.

    Beautiful area if not torched

    Good luck out there

My thoughts exactly. I would not be happy if someone broadcast my spot like that!
If we’re not supposed to eat animals, how come they’re made out of meat?

One more question for you knowledgeable folks!

it’s seeming like a huge pain in the ass to haul my trailer and two quads up so far, is it realistic to just bring the tents, truck and be hyper mobile? Or should we pick a spot and hunker down for the entirety of the hunt? Really on the fence here, picking up and moving is a lot worse when you have two quads and a trailer to deal with..

supposed to be leaving tomorrow so this is a last minute consideration.
