I only need 1
10- 12 on me including mags, box or so at camp
lol...... What happens if you get caught in a barrage!
4 in the gun + 8 in my hip pouch shell holder for day hunts. If I was backpacking then I’d throw another 10 or so in my bag.
On a fly in hunt; 13 on me in various locations. 10 back at the lake. It may seem like a lot but sometimes things can get out of control before you know it. A single bullet can be worth more than your tent when your 2 days hike away from the lake you flew into on your “once in a lifetime” hunt.
on my fly in sheep hunts I take 19. 3 always in the mag, 6 on my buttstock and 2 plastic 5 shell holders in my backpack.
4, my rifle capacity plus one full box in my back pack. You never know when you might spot somebody messing with your vehicle down in the valley bellow.
10 rounds for a day hunt. 20 rounds for a spare rifle and 20 for my hunting rifle for a trip. Usually have 40 loaded up for any rifle I may use during the season.
