Had a Clipper Expedition, about 18 feet long but weighed 86 lb.
Very stable and never tipped.
Saw a film clip where two were lashed together in tandem with a 4 hp motor and 1500 pounds of moose.
Currently have a 15'6 clipper at 47 lbs. but does not get enough use.
You guys check out North61 on YouTube . I just watched 1 video he might have some good ideas as well

I have a 15.5 Clipper Sportsman with the square stern, when going out alone I put a dairy box with 4 full jugs of water in the front to keep it balanced. Was thinking about selling/trading it for a double ender as I never use a motor on it anyway.

I have a Clipper MacKenzie Sport 18′, I modified an old pontoon fly fishing boat to stack on top of it. I have a 6 hp Yamaha 4 stroke in the back.
I added the pontoons after i flipped in on the Pitt River on a goose hunt last year (bad experience). I can stand up and walk all over it now and couldn't possibly flip it, I have even tried standing on one of the pontoons and it was stable. It will hold close to 1,800 pounds of hunters, gear and meat now with no worries.
^^Nice setup!
