I'd think alot of people on here would be familiar with the work of Dr. Valerius Geist... not sure how many knew, but he passed away on Monday night at the age of 83.
I own a few of Geists books and have listened to him on podcasts and other talks he's done.
A big loss to the hunting and conservation world.
May he rest in peace.

I had a chance to listen to his latest seminar and ask him a question. What an interesting person and life. I wish I could see what he has seen. His theory on predator pits is also a very interesting one that sticks with me.

Sad news for sure, the man had amazing knowledge and experience. Hydatid disease is burnt into my brain.

Wow, that is not good for BC.
Great Bio, and a pro hunter in BC.
