If $2.50 plus tax isn't too rich for your blood may I suggest this alternative? A buck for the pistol and buck fifty for the caps,,,,the deal of the century for dog training. lol
This is what I use to introduce gun fire to a new pup, as well teaching steadiness out in the field. It's not quite as loud as a starter's pistol but it worked great for me since I can use it out on a city grass field without having the cops show up after a couple of shots. It's plenty loud enough, though, especially for training.
You can get them at the dollar store. There's enough caps for 72 shots.
I will need a better quality one for the long haul. But I may check it out for the time being as I am working on steadiness training.

Without wanting hijacking the Tread. I have a 60 year old HS Staring Pistol made in Germany but I am out of 6mm Starting Pistol Cartridges. Does anybody know where I may find some. Alternatively I would sell her !
Thanks
