    Lightweight saw

What brand of saw are people taking (if taking one at all) on mountain trips this year? Why or why not?

Can’t beat a Silky saw. I have a gomboy it’s light, folds, is sharp and has a little case so it slides in anywhere in the pack or wherever you pack it.

Woods brand folding hand saw that can be found at Crappy Tired.

Not the best... but when it finally fails me I'll upgrade.

    Re: Lightweight saw

Ive used the Wyoming Saw II for 35 years and its never failed me, I recently was introduced to the Silky saw and its a nice lightweight option but my Wyoming saw has a wood blade and a bone blade so Ill give it the edge for sure.

Yup my Silky has cut through some serious shit. Takes a licking and keeps on cutting. Highly recommend
