Mounted up the new VX3 HD 4.5-14x40 ZL-CDS scope on my ultralight 280AI, seem a touch brighter and clearer than my VX3i, crosshairs seem to be a touch more definite as well......now to get it to the range and test it out.

Is the hd worth 160 bucks more and new rings in 30mm over the 3vxi 1inch same power ?buying one or the other tonight.

It seems to be a touch brighter and clearer than the VX3i, I do think the reticle is a little sharper for sure, is it $160 better ???? the deer died just fine last year using the VX3i !!!!
