    Great bull and great write up!



    One thing I read though, you cut your tag while you were still 250 yards away? Definitely a best practice to make sure your animal is dead before you start clipping notches... And the best way to know for sure that you have him is to see that he isn't blinking or breathing at rifle muzzle distance. Lots of "dead" bulls have gotten up after being clipped high in the spine, never to be seen again.
