While living in Cranbrook we used to head down there. Beautiful country lots of grizz in those years ( lates 70ies)

Glacier has been a hotspot for Grizzly attacks over the years. Sounds like we’ve been sending badass Canadian bears down to the Americans. Not something I’d wish on almost anyone... now if we could just transplant some badass lower mainland gangsters at the same time...

I’ve been down there a few times both successful. Both times seen griz but more black bears. Friend shot a 160+ a few years ago and I got a 154 out of there last year. I saw some guys pictures this year with some bigger deer.

I think I have a spot picked out now.Google earth is a big plus. The road is closed to vehicle traffic so that means walk into the area on an old road then start hiking to alpine.
This summer I'll ride my bike down there to have a closer look.

As others have said...bears for sure.
We did harvest a couple of nice Mulies out of the alpine and a very nice Wt in a valley.

This was quite a few years ago...but there were bears and wolves everywhere...

My brother and I used to hunt there, we were all alone for a week every time we went. Saw goats every time so if you can get a draw could be productive.
