    Any idea what kind of paint that is on the outside? I'd make sure to burn 'er good & hot a number of times outdoors to burn off anything nasty that might be in the paint.

    Maybe , but I understand the fumes coming off it could be deadly . I would definitely burn it hot while outside... see how much it warps esp the door and burn the finish off the pipes . If that's ducting at the bottom it will melt and you will know

    Beware! the burnt galvanizing of off the pipe will make you sick as well as the paint .You might want to get real stove pipe.Canadian tire has it
