the hair is a little in the way. I took good pics of the horns before they were mounted but I can’t seem to find them so I just snapped a few new ones.
If you damping the horn it may help them stand out, or hold your thump on the curve of the horn with the nail down as you come down the horn it will stop in the annuli
you can then follow around the horn to make sure there true does get harder on goats as you get closer to the base for as you mentioned they get so close. Have seen
them with rot around the whole base as well so makes it pretty much imposable so then must rely on the tooth, but in saying that have had different ages come back
on teeth before as well
