    Government Hunting Data

    Hi Folks;
    Not sure if this is old news but I just found the following on the Government Website
    "Hunting data is now accessible online"

    I used to email the ministry and someone would send me a giant MS Excel spreadsheet of hunting data going back 50 years.

    Here is a good resource that is fairly new just adjust the filters to what you want to see.

    Except I can change the region and it seems to work for all. Region 4 is koots, every other region is not. Maybe you did not see that drop down.

    I did but only saw east and west kootenays. I'll look again.

    Is this ALL based on hunter self-submit survey? Or are there real data, such as from CI?

    Because I looked up some goat numbers and they seem really low as far as number of goats harvested

    I am not sure what that site is based off of. I was given that site by a Moe biologist. I can certainly find out though if you would like.

    asked about mule wolf moose
    i got a wt but was not on the form
    go figure
