Glad to share with you all. I really enjoy reading every one else's stories. Hopefully we see more stories shared.

Sent the story to my friend read and remember.
Error correction. He has swaro 15x56.

My spotting scope is an older howa tsn prominar 553 20x60.

Forgot that my friend has a podcast now too. I'll likely go on to chat about this hunt and our elk hunt where he downed a nice 8x7 bull.

This is the podcast: tells the story of their 2020 sheep hunt.

Their latest podcast had Omer from precision optics on it. A few Quesnel guys bullshitting.

15x56 are very popular in the states. Lots of guys seem to be glassing with just 15x56 off a tripod.

Cool idea, but good 15x56 are very expensive and without a tripod kind of useless on their own. I cant even use 12x as regular binos, let alone 15x.

I am the same as you. I chose 8x42s over 10x42s just because of the shake. I'm trying to either spot a deer in thick timber or count 6 points on a bull at closer distances.

Those 15x56s resting on the canopy or on his tripod mount were unreal.

Very nice goat. With the late season and that awesome looking beard, he'd make an spectacular shoulder mount too. Late goats are great goats.

Have a listen if you have time. They've had 9 other casts that are enjoyable.

Great story! Seems to me like you put in some time and effort. Don’t belittle your own hunt. Some times they are easier than others. I have let animals walk before because it was “too easy”. I usually regret doing that the very next time I look in my freezer!

Let us know how your mount turns out.
If we’re not supposed to eat animals, how come they’re made out of meat?

Sounds like capes should be back to Lino in castlegar pretty soon here. See what sort of mount is possible at that point. Will share with everyone once it is complete.
