3D, if your string has stretched in and your loop has stretched and been shortened and the loop is still turning on the string, it is quite simply that your knots are not holiding the serving tight enough. When this happens the force of your string coming to a sudden stop in forward motion after release causes the loop to swivel to the side of the string rather than staying straight back. The wax trick usually solves this if done when tieing on the loop. i would be glad to show you how to do your own loops when i am down at the merritt shoot. i will bring down some real good no stretch loop material as well and we'll get you fixed up in a jiffy!!

    Hey Chris,

Guess who?!?! I was looking up the tru ball pro diamond t handle release on cabelas web site. Single ball or double ball release???? Caliper???? OMG this is confusing?? Mine is the caliper, what's the difference with the ball release?? Is that the more quieter one you were mentioning?? Luckely you don't charge us dumbasses for your advice!! Not yet anyway!!

Take a look at this rest. I've ordered the Safari Twister just because I can't stand the arrow flopping around on my rest and I don't want the rest to contact any more of the arrow than it has to - before, during, and through the shot process.

    Here is the site.

3D, the ball releases you were looking at have 1/2 circles in each side of the release caliper jaw and together they clamp over a "ball"(or 2 balls) attached to your string. In my opinion all they do is add weight to your string and slow you down with no real benefit over a caliper and string loop. For a T-handle i would suggest the Pro Diamond with caliper head. It is the easiest to use and is reasonably priced. So far mine has been very good to me and very reliable. As far as being quieter goes was saying that the pro diamond was quieter than say the King George because it doesn't lock down with a "click" like some of the high end models do. This feature is unessecary in my opinion, i have pulled 75# with mine and it holds just fine without "locking down"!
