I've really liked the BD Spot 325, although I think the new one is the Spot 350. Runs on 3 AAAs, and they last forever.

I’ve been using a Petzl for 30 years, but the one I have now chews through batteries. 3 AAA at a go. I just ordered a Fenix with the single AA. I use mine pretty much every ugly day to walk out of the marsh after dark, so it will get a good test over the next 4 weeks of duck season.

I will add I have FENIX I use can get a tad warm, not to the point of burning, but bit of discomfort with prolonged use.
