Fenix HL55 with 18650 rechargeable lithiums. Just be careful that it doesn’t get turned on high in a pack or pocket. The beam IS intense enough to melt polyester fabric.
The helmet mounts for them are great as well, I wear my headlamp when night sledding, the additional light is great.
For cheaper options, Coast lights have good value too.
Pretend hunter.
Petzl or fenix. I have been research Claymore lights (spelling?). There is a dealer in the lower mainland.
Another one for FENIX, I use a model HL55 and it always stuns people by how bright I can make it.
Have a Nebo... spent 12 hours under 10 feet of water. Still worked after it was retrieved.
Hmm mm Fenix.I have 2..love both.

I used to be a Fenix dealer... decent bright product but I had a bunch of returns and had two of my own that stopped working. This year I had a four year old expensive Black Diamond fail on me. They gave me a 50% discount on a new one and extended that price to anything else I bought at the same time... so got myself a set of carbon hiking poles, two headlamps for myself and a headlamp for my grandson. I now alway carry two and have one in my truck.
I would like one that throws a BRIGHT RED though and cant seem to find any? Ideas/Recommendations?

I use a Surefire Minimus and its fantastic.
Gonna try a Fenix for the next one. Have always had Petzl and I’ve had issues with the last few.
