Heading to Powell Lake for some Blacktail hunting tomorrow. Bringing two guys with me, one who has only walked in the forest looking for deer and another who has never shot a rifle. Lots of learning in the next few days for them! Cant wait

    Nice buck. Congrats

Not a Doctor, but research quinine.
You can take vitamin D3 with tonic water. Tonic water has quinine in it. Schweppes actually has it right on the can "Contains Quinine". My understanding is, quinine is a derivative of hydroxychloroquine. Used by the British in Africa to prevent malaria, just like HCQ, (tastes like shit which is why they added gin). If you get a cold or the flu. Tonic water, D3, C and zinc.

    Fear is not a virtue.

Thatís a wicked buck, well done and thanks for sharing, great write up..
Yup, it's easier to manage hunters (LEH) than it is to manage wildlife. And, generally, LEH satisfies the Guide Outfitter because it limits the number of hunters in their area.

I like drinking beer and whiskey, shooting guns, jetboating, love a nice rack and a tight line, I am simply a sophisticated redneck...

You've got to love an older weathered buck. Good call on getting him mounted, loads of character.
