Looking for recommended lower mainland gunsmith

I have a browning 308 BLR made in Japan. Purchased in the early '80s this lever action rifle has treated me well my whole life until last weekend. On Wednesday I shot a black tail. On Saturday I had a 4 point in my scope with with a bullet in the chamber and when I pulled the trigger nothing happened. The hammer didn't drop. I've tried cleaning out the lever mechanism oiling the lever mechanism, everything I know how to do. I looked up online and pretty much everything I read says do not as an inexperienced person take this apart and clean it as reassembly is tricky to do properly. Thus I'm looking for help on this great site from people such as you. Do you know of a good gunsmith in the lower mainland? I'm in Chilliwack so the closer the better but obviously I will drive for someone who is capable and skilled. Thanks in advance.

I had a real bad experience with bits n pieces ~ 8 years ago.

Had a new robertson composites stock for my m700, just needed a bit of tough ups finishing before bedding.

Whoever at bits n pieces was working on my rifle, had the entire action twisted a few degrees, and instead of un twisting it, decided to shave the side of the trigger guard to fit. I'm pretty sure i refused to pay, but its been a while.

I had to get a different gunsmith to un **** it for me.

I don’t have a gunsmith for you, but I DO have 4 fully functioning leverguns that would like to fill another tag, so if you’re lining up on multiple deer this week, I’ll happily follow you around...
