north okanagan too vernon to salmon arm seen them never tried.
When we were headed to BANFF in August I let my dog out to pee and give the Miss and Kids a break at the Walmart in Salmon Arm. The lab I have flushes one just behind the parking lot. They are around but publicly that's the hard one.
The one in my yard was more than a few years ago, time flies. I found the photos. Got to within a few meters of the bugger. Would have been an easy shot with a bow. Then he flew on to neighbour's roof. March 2012. Fine specimen he was.
One of my gang shot a pheasant in Ladner this year. The last one I saw in Ladner was six years ago.
I bump one on the dyke in Ladner a month ago heading out duck hunting.
