if the picture is on your phone it can be edited easily enough. I did that recently to a photo that was texted to me that I wanted to share to some other friends of an island elk. [ I know the guy but for privacy/ etiquette reasons I painted over the faces before I shared it with others]
Save image and then choose the edit option, I'm not sure about Imagur though since I'm not that computer advanced yet.

If it’s an iPhone. Open the pic, edit, circle with 3 dots in it at the top right, markup. Mark away.

You can also duplicate the photo so you have the original and the markup version
