Last trip this season for mulies.

So I went for a 7km atv ride over the ice and crunchy snow. I froze. I need to reconsider my head gear and face protection at -2 to -5 bush riding. No mule deer to be seen. Atv is away tonight and battery tender will be on tomorrow. Never seen a grouse either.
I dug out my wool winter hats and the wide neck warmers. The blood just doesn't flow like it used too! I'm 60.
tag soup this year so far. Might walk about.

Look around is there someone you can introduce to shooting because that’s the only way we will buck the anti gun trend sweeping Canada! "tigrr 2006"

Why last trip? Schedule? I've had good success right around Nov 11.

The snow around these parts is something else, I can't remember the last time I can remember these conditions
two weeks ago it was deep and wet, add some rain, add dropping temps and now its tough enough to support boots, quad, and almost a truck
Lots of old tracks in the frozen mush, but nothing for new sign on top, its like the high country has been vacated early.
Never say whoa in the middle of a mud hole
