Fixing a hole through an antler

So an addition to my hunting story post on my moose trip. One of my shots hit and went through a brow tine on the moose. Didn't shatter the antler too bad or splinter too much. It's a really nice rack and while it's not my biggest or widest it has the most amazing looking tri-palm brow tines I've seen on any moose I've harvested. I'm thinking, there's got to be a way to fix this. Anyone out there got a DIY antler repair recipe? Wood filler and stain? Let me know.

    Thanks

Doesn't sound like a problem.. Maybe fix it so that it doesn't break apart. I would leave the hole. It is character and part of your story.... the legacy of the hunt.

two part epoxy, try and find something the consistency of clay (I have epoxy sculpt from taxidermy supply) and stain. but I agree with above, leave it as it is part of the story.

    Don't "fix" it
    Leave it

    It's part of the memory.

Be proud of it how it is.

Ya i'd leave it, read your story, congrats, a shot went thru an antler and you still got him after that, great memory i'd say.

If you want to fix it. Wood filler. Works great!

I have a plug cutter and some old moose antlers. How big is the hole? Or buy some plug cutters and find a old antler and pick a spot that looks similar and diy.
