Our crew is headed to 7-27 for leh moose but we have a day to burn in Vanderhoof. Anybody know where we could set up camp and hunt for a day?
Many thanks
Mike

Bobtail is halfway between PG and Vanderhoof. There's lots of gravel pits to camp in. Lots of mule deer, grouse, and a great chance for spike fork bull moose.

Me & 2 buddies had an LEH south of the 'hoof' 2018. Can't help with camping close to Vanderhoof, we were on a lake a good 1.5 hours out of town. But we had a great breakfast at this wooden lodge restaurant.... Second the advice on popping in to Nechako.
