Hunting 312

new to the area and my wife has draw to 312
I noted alot private land no hunting and grasslands
What's left haha any help would be appreciated please pm me if possible

early season the mulies are up high which is crown in that zone, once the bunting pressure starts they move into the private property and stay.

be very careful of where you hunt in 312 as well, Douglas lake has active security patrols and they have no problem upholding the law in regards to their property, I know several people who have been fined hunting out there on what they wrongfully assumed was crown land.

sooner you can get out there the better, and the further east towards the connector you go the more public land you’ll find.

Its a huge area, lots of crown land.

There are no mule deer in that region. I know it well.

there is lots and lots of area to hunt, just the longer the season goes and the colder it gets the further out of those areas the deer typically go.. lots of transitioning to winter habitat slowly happening as time goes on.
