Porcupine Ridge - Help

I am looking for current information on the trail access. I have gone in before via the Jesmond side but I have heard that the road up to the trail head is washed out. If any locals are kind enough to PM me any details that would be much appreciated. We are looking to spend a few nights up top after we visit our family place in Cache Creek in a couple weeks.
