What Spotting Scope for Less than $1500

Interested in a spotting scope for this season. Been happy with my Vortex Viper 10x42 binos but wanting something with more range so am looking at spotting scopes. Not interested in the $3000 price tag of the top of the line. Just want to find bedded van isl blacktail bucks inside 600-1000 yards.

    Got a recommendation?

Keep your eye out for the leupold sx4. I’m not sure if they’re available in Canada just yet, but they’re going to be direct competition with the viper.

Hard to find better deal than this($500 of the price) and it fits your price range.

I would look for a used Swaro or Zeiss.

Viper is a great spotter for the dollar

I agree with Mark the Viper is pretty good for the money but if possible pick up an used Vortex Razor 16-48x65.

    I've got a razor 20-60 x 85 with a manfrotto w/ rc 128 fluid head. Great scope/tripod for the price.
When in doubt, just pin it.
