What Spotting Scope for Less than $1500

Interested in a spotting scope for this season. Been happy with my Vortex Viper 10x42 binos but wanting something with more range so am looking at spotting scopes. Not interested in the $3000 price tag of the top of the line. Just want to find bedded van isl blacktail bucks inside 600-1000 yards.

    Got a recommendation?

Keep your eye out for the leupold sx4. I’m not sure if they’re available in Canada just yet, but they’re going to be direct competition with the viper.

Hard to find better deal than this($500 of the price) and it fits your price range.

Where are people finding deals on used hunting items? The for sale section here isnt all that active really.

What is this gunpost thing someone posted?

I have tried to join Canadian gun nuts like 3 times and never been approved so I am NOT trying again on there.

I bought my spotter of KIJIJI. Other stuff can be found on Craigslist, buyselltrade.ca, used Victoria, townpost, gunpost, etc. Binos and spotters aren’t necessarily hunting items. I bought mine off a birder.

Viper is a great spotter for the dollar
