I have learned silence from the talkative, toleration from the intolerant, and kindness from the unkind; yet strange, I am ungrateful to those teachers.

Nice, way to go gramps.
Very cool! Fishing is such a good skill to learn.
When in doubt, just pin it.
He’ll be hooked for life ! Now that’s what I call a Great Grandpa !
Wow dandy trout, thanks for sharing
7mm PRC soon to be the most popular cartridge in North America
Awesome trout, he looks stoked, congrats to you both....getting my 7 year old into fishing as well, don't have the setup yet for chironomids yet....
Times he'll never forget. Congrats!
Nothing better than a day on the water with a grandkid
Finland is a neutral country - but the guns point to the east.
Beautiful day to be on the water and those pictures are priceless. Fantastic memories to bring up with your great grandkids. (in due time, of course)
The first thing I noticed was the kid's fine taste in hats. Good ones last a lifetime and can hold lots of memories.
Second gramps being a good example of wearing a life jacket. Gets my goat when adults don't wear life jackets, helmets, seatbelts. Even a 3 year old can see the double standard.
No one on their death bed ever said; I should have spent more time at work.
The hat was my dad’s. He passed away in December. He almost made it to 90. When we were going through his stuff, my grandson saw the hat, and asked if he could have it. It fit him perfectly. Sure nice to see that hat back out on the water.
