Seems like a well rated product from a local company.
Update; Aqua Quest in Courtenay sell on Amazon.ca as “Gear Out Here”. Ordered my tarp yesterday and it’s here already. Looks tough with 17 tie down loops with one in the center. I’m impressed
If you can pack it in, You can pack it out !!!

Another option for a spike camp would be a durston tent. You can setup the fly only. I don’t know how much the it would weigh, maybe 1.4 lbs. for a 2 person.

Hmm have a silfly.lightweight tarp..don't think I've used it except to cover packs in camp.
What I DO use is SILDOME..Pretty much a silfly. With one segmented fibrepole.forms a hoop that gives an adjustable widts shelter
Moose sheep and even extreme light bivwack.works awesome fast, easy for glossing or getting out of the elements or overnight.

i believe we use a 8x10 FR siltarp while sheep hunting. and yes definitely have slept under it a night or 2 lmao. id recommend a fire ******ant one, we had some pretty rocking fires under it and have yet to melt a hole in it.

Perfect. Spike four corners, add a walking stick on each side for the ridge and two guy wires. Bring on the rain

In the market for a tarp myself ,

a bit more pricey , but versatile. Seek outside DST. This is the route I’m going. Throw in a 15oz bug Bivy If needed, now I can sleep with the elk and not be weighed down.
