Just purchased 2 Aqua Quest tarps . The safari in 10x 13 and the Guide in 10x13 . Also some Boa compression straps .
Going to try them out on a 2 day camp in Yoho in a few days . Hopefully it won’t rain though !

I know people use there hiking poles to aid in setting up a tarp but since we will be camping out of car what about adjustable tarp poles ? I see Big Agnes used to make some aluminum ones but I don’t think you can get them any longer ,do you fellas have any other recommendations ?

Canadian Tire has some really inexpensive and sturdy steel extendable tarp poles, like $15 each.

I have a 13x10 guide tarp, and a bunch of 1.8mm blind cord to string it as needed. I've only got a couple nights in it, but have been pleased thus far. More reports to come when archery season opens!

My siltarp is 12x9’ I had it set up on a recent canoe trip. We had one rainy morning. We had 4 adults and 4 boys under it for breakfast waiting out the rain. It’s a pretty good size. Packs down pretty small too.
