The mine road takes you to the Eastern side of Big Dog
and goes right up to the top. The trail is a 2 hour hike to glass the
western side of Big Dog. The trail was made into a fire guard
    and is easy to find.

Are you talking about the Blue Creek road?
Looks like there are some changes since I was there the last time.
The trail sure took me more than 2 hours and it was hidden by the guides, because they used it most.

Yes, the Blue creek mine road as I said on previous post. The
trail is just past the tent camp on the left hand side. About 75 kilometre.
If you get to the lock blocks keeping the road from sloughing in
you have gone 100 yards to far. Look up to the left and you
will see a fire guard, the trail is on the fire guard.

The Blue Creek road can't be 75 K, if I remember the first cabin on the
right down from the road is about 65 K and Blue Creek is way before that.
The tent camp you mention must be what used to be the guide camp at 9 Mile Ridge.
The trail that I know is a bit further on the left but not too far and it's right by the side of the road.
I remember I had to cross the creek on a log to get to the other side.

Nice shot, this one is an old picture made with a film camera and it's a bit grainy, but that's the Big Dog side from across.

A guy from lillooet Ken owns the tent camp, it is just past the guide camp.
The trail is at the end of the Straight stretch the tent camp is on. You should take
a drive up there and familiarize yourself with things.

Thanks, I haven't been there for quite some time but I would like to see how it looks today.
I know the cabin built by guys from Lillooet, it is past the old cabin on the right, but it wasn't a tent camp, just a wood cabin.
