    Anyone been up the Goat River this year?

    Looking for road conditions up the Goat River (McBride area)...

    Not this spring, but last fall (and last spring). The road is easily passible but quite overgrown in places. There is a washout that most likely has not been repaired along the Milk about 5km upstream from where it joins the Goat. You can get around it with an ATV. We packed in several 2x12 lumbers and made a temporary bridge to get the trucks past it. Beautiful country lots of bears, wolves, porkies, wolverine and moose in the spring... barren of all wildlife in the fall...
