    Netting the Vedder

Well seems its going to happen coming the 16th July to Aug a net fishery in the lower River . I dont think that small run can take that pressure just seen it on Facebook . Sad day for the fish ! I wonder how many will make it to the Hatchery.

Well their the keepers of the land not the water. Whitey put them in the water we’ll take them. Probably in poop now for this.

They are lining up to buy the surplus. It will never get better till everyone stops buying fish from the stewards.
The challenge of retirement is how to spend time without spending money.
The worst day slinging lead is still better than the best day working.
Look around is there someone you can introduce to shooting because that’s the only way we will buck the anti gun trend sweeping Canada! "tigrr 2006"

Well - you know - that traditional selling of salmon from pickup trucks. It's ceremonial.

Supposedly there’s another opening at the end of September into October.....the main channel of the river will be 50ft wide by then. Half a dozen nets will be catastrophic. The Chehalis is getting the net treatment as well. I wonder what percentage of their netting license fees goes towards fisheries management??

It's been going on forever whenever the returns are good.
So it's an indicator that sockeye returns might be better this year.

This statement is complete and utter SHITE. This has ZERO to do with sockeye. Its all about chinook. Quit posting opinion.
