Wild Sheep Society is looking for volunteers this weekend for a count in that exact area. I'm sure that may be a good opportunity to do some good scouting as well as help out with a solid conservation organization.

If you want to know the odds it will cost you, interestingly enough, $1500.
EMT works fine.
All joking aside it was 155:1 and there is no way in hell im paying the farmers a dollar. That greasy crap makes my blood boil. Sounds like the strategy is locked in.
Any ideas on where to camp on the east side so we can glass first light?
PM me, yes we are counting sheep this weekend and I know the area.

Sorry I thought about what I wrote and feel like my tone was off. The farmers have the right to do whatever they please. I just don't feel it is moral to charge resident folks who won an LEH. Either it should be no access, or access with permission. That kind of money is out of bounds and is a big middle finger to a guy like me. If I had the money to burn I would happily donate it to the WSS or a conservation organization for access, but to go into the pocket of a landowner who knows they are blocking a very lucrative (and tightly managed) resource like sheep makes my stomach turn.
I used the provincial iMapBC with the private/public land layers and see there is some areas north and south of the aformentioned farms (and the reservation land which I assume will have similar rules) and feel I will be able to make something work I hope.
Darksith, I would love to come for a hike and help you guys out and learn but it just isn't realistic this time of year for me and my work to make it happen.
Thank you Darksith and Srupp. PMs and phone calls (when I get some time) inbound.
Darksith I tried sending you a PM but your inbox is full.

Following, I won a draw in 3-31B, access will be my biggest issue.. plan to make google maps my best friend and get out there to find some access points. I’ve hunted these areas for years for mule deer, but I haven’t needed the type of access I need now with my draw. Good luck to you
