Bear Watch is alive and well

Reading and hearing lots of posts and tales of bear hunters waiting and watching, instead of shooting and skinning.
    Do big bears taste better?
Do two 200 lb'ers not equal more meat than one 300 lb'er ?
    Are big skulls the ultimate?
Just trying to feel the sentiment
Never say whoa in the middle of a mud hole

They both taste the same to me. If I'm saving my tag for later, it's only because it's someone else's turn to shoot, and I'm trying to get them a chance.

Just personal preference. Some guys prefer taking 4 points instead of any buck. No different. Not sure why your valid question was associated with having a bad day.

I’ll be out around bridge lake on Father’s Day weekend. If anyone has a honey hole with a 200 pounder I won’t complain

I passed a few this spring before taking a shot.

I’ll probably have to tag another before seasons over because I’m going through bear sausage way too fast at the moment.

wonder if being in the rut impacts meat flavour?

    I’ve been told this also,
All the big bears and deer are on windy mountain.
