    Question Moose hunting some where along the Yukon border

    Hopping there is some one out there who had some knowledge on hunting in 6-25 ,6-24,6-23,7-52
    I have never been past pink mt but looking to drag the flat deck and converted cargo trailer with quads some where as far north as I can go in bc and set up camp and hopefully frond some big moose or caribou and info would be a appreciated

    OP...as I am sure you know, no one is going to tell you where a good area is on social media. To do so would be to kill it as it gets flooded with guys. You need to just do your own research and figure out where to go on your own. Look at the backroad map books and select likely looking areas, then get some more detailed maps of the areas to see where there is access. Pay attention to the various road/access restrictions in the hunting regs as these can often give you some clues as to where to concentrate your efforts.

    Regardless of how much advance research you do you will still get surprises when you go to a new area and nothing beats first hand experience if you can actually talk to someone who has been there. You might try talking to CO's in the area.

    Consider your first trip up a fact finding mission and if you are lucky you will get into some bulls. Worst case scenario, you will be in a better position to plan for year two.
