    Your Favorite Sheep Hunting Books

Amazon has Jack O'Connors Sheep and Sheep Hunting and their trading at $260+, so apparently nothing about sheep hunting is cheap, HA!

What has been your favorite or most informative book on sheep hunting?

As we prepare to go on our first adventure it would be fun to read a bit more in depth than I have on the forums. I understand nothing will compare to first hand, boots on the ground experiences, but I would still love to sink my teeth into a good few sheep books.

    Thanks in advance!

''The Great Arc of Wild Sheep'' is a good one if you can find it also.

Some of Valarius Geists books are good. He is a Bio in BC and has written on sheep behavior and habitat. Very informative

Tony Russ, “Sheep Hunting in Alaska” on hunting Dall sheep is very good and applies to
Stone sheep. Tony was a bowhunter as well. PG83 covered all the others I like.

I went on a similar quest a few months ago. Lots of good titles but very few available for sale.

Here's a favourite of mine. Won it in the pyramid raffle at WSSBC fundraiser 15 years ago. An old FNAWS publication. Some excellent old sheep hunting tales. <Ramshot
