I am happy with my Kowa Prominar tsn-663, great compromise in size/weight/bulk with very good optics.

As said above, birdwatchers forum put me onto Kowa and the respect it garners.

What osprey said. Many other scopes will be similar or even outperform a swaro with the 20-60 eyepiece, but for myself, I’ve yet to find one better than the ats 65 With the wide angle 25-50 eyepiece in that size range. Just awesome and worth the extra few bucks.

Hmm IMO buy the Swarovski and enjoy the next 30 years saving dozens of saved kilometers of hiking ..using the optics not your legs.
no, I have not used a Kowa" but never encountered anyone using one ever on a hunt..so can't comment.
I have a swaro" ATV 65...loved every year.
    Good luck
