    I guess you haven't had anything with a lifetime warranty leave you hanging YET.

    Not sure what kind of hunting you do, but vortex shit is like taking a Canadian Tire Air mattress on a week long mountain hunt because they have a lifetime warranty and great return/exchange policy. Or a canadian tire dingy for a river tube trip.....

    You can start out with a vortex and be happy with it (even recommend them to people that don't know better!), but after you gain some experience you will buy something decent.

    You may take a look at Nikon Laserforce 10 x 42.
    I bought it as Christmas gift to my son .
    Distance Reading is really fast, picture is very clear, good at low light, have good reviews.
    It is $1399 almost everywhere beside Visions where you can get it for $300 off.
    for $1098 it is a steal.

    Swaros seem to work well. Much better than my old vortex ranger lol
