    Hunting Regulations

The current hunting regulations go to June 30, 2020

I was trying to locate an update and could not find one.

Does anyone have any information regarding this?

    Re: Hunting Regulations

So with this lockdown and having a wee bit more time on my hands. I have sent numerous emails and phone calls and have gotten these answers.
1- we haven't heard a peep from the ministry as to when they will be released
2- from what we are hearing now it will be early June
    3- first week of June
So my reply was, does the ministry remember all the proposed changes they threw out there for input over the winter? Do they not see that a lot of the LEH applications would be contingent on if and what new changes to the hunting regs may be. For instance for me 6-04, GOS bow season, the rut opening is now LEH (18 tags) while the rifle LEH is a whopping total of 3 draws. So because of shoulder surgeries and eye sight that has diminished using the compound bow is out, so i don't know if i can still use the xbow with a scope. They understood my concern but it is out of their hands, so some of us are left hanging and getting screwed.

Exactly.... I myself have been hitting the spear hunting pretty hard lately chasing one particular bear, a cranker brown phase, before that becomes illegal. Might have to break down and break out the long range stuff and blood a Montec though. Tough getting inside 8 yards.
