This is an unvarnished account of one individuals journey through life, touching on his passion for the outdoors, hunting and fishing. While certainly on its face there are instances that do sound shocking, and it is natural to take the next logical steps in concluding what is happening, to be fair the speaker never provided enough details to confirm the totality of the situation. If he was recounting a transgression made in his youth, even the highly acclaimed Steve Rinella admits to doing things in his youth that he was not proud of nor would he repeat.

In his adult life the speaker would go on to do things for his country, for his Metis community and for the general hunting community which few others have come close to achieving. The purpose of this episode, and the podcast in general, is not to cast judgment nor drive an agenda, but rather to engage people who have accomplished much or who have a story to share that the listener can hopefully find some value in.
