    Are you just hiking in the woods and coming across these, or actively searching out elk and their stomping grounds? Interested in how I can be successful in this and hiking out with 6 children in tow because they’d sure love if we could find some.

    not scouting the area out I am searching in areas where there are local elk and deer there there year around I have been retired now for 12 yers and I shed hunt for exercise and to make a little cash on the side ,,sold my last bunch 4 years ago for 9 bucks a pound ,,now i heard you can get up to 12 bucks a pound for fresh elk sheds deer sheds,,I love getting out into nature where I feel its where I belong most times..
